Composer Youshin Gim has Started Piano Since 2004, He was selected by Gangwon-Foundation for Future Talent as a Culture Artist Since 2008 and received scholarship as well. In 2009 He was nominated in GMMFS(Grand Mountain Music Festival&School) Festival for Fully-Scholarship Student for Composition and Piano through a piano masterclasses with such as Soojung Shin, Da-sol Kim, Kevin Kenner etc. Since 2015 He admitted to study in Korea National University of Arts as a Bachelor Degree Composition with Beong-Eun Yoo, Seong-Ho Hwang, in parallel with ERASMUS Exchange Program at Hochschule für Künste(HfK) Bremen with Composer/Prof. Jörg Birkenkötter’s Composition Class in 2018-19, Also Christian Günther’s Conducting Class, and graduated after came back from Germany.

His works has been performed/represented by Bulgarian Philharmonie, Ensemble E-MEX with Synthetis Course, Vacuum Quartet with Moscow National Theatre/St. Petersburg Int. Music Festival(reMusik.org), ISCM Korea the 48’th Pan Music Festival with Ensemble EINS, Dialogue Classica in Omsk, DSS Slovenia Composer Society Concert Atelier Season 2019/20, Valencia VIPA Festival 2019 etc. Also He was selected in MDI Ensemble Reading Session with Composer Clara Iannotta, TIMF Composition Seminar with Toshio Hosokawa, Takefu Int. Music Festival Composition Seminar, Georges Aperghis&Peter Eötvös Masterclass Consultation Program by Peter Eötvös Foundation. Currently He is the Composer-In-Residence of SONOR XXI Ensemble
