Giulio Arnofi got a Bachelor degree, in Orchestra Conducting, a Conservatory in Bologna where he studied composition with M° Cristina Landuzzi. At the same time he attended several masterclasses with Maurizio Arena, Daniele Agiman, Julius Kalmar, Dominique Rouits, Günter Neuhold and Matteo Beltrami. He concludes his studies with Master degree in Orchestra Conducting at the Conservatory in Milan with M° Daniele Agiman. In 2015 he followed the course of vocal interpretation at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro with M°Alberto Zedda. He has been assistant of M° Corrado Rovaris, M° F. Chaslin, M° M. Beltrami, M° M. Barbacini. In March 2023 will be the assistant of M° Sesto Quatrini for “Die Zauberflöte” at Teatro Regio in Turin.


Recent and future engagements 2021/22
In 2021 he made his debut with the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert sponsored by the Embassy of Italy in Kosovo and the United Nations. He conducted a concert at the Lerici Music Festival together with tenor René Barbera and mezzosoprano Caterina Piva. He made his debut with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto. In 2022 he returned to conduct Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, made his debut with the Orchestra Sinfonica della Città Metropolitana di Bari for two concerts and was again a guest of the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra. He made his debut with the strings of the Orchestra Regionale della Toscana and with La Filharmonie - Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze; he engaged from Teatro dell’Opera Giocosa in Savona for opera production The bear by W. Walton and after that he conducted the FVG Orchestra (musical and orchestral institution of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) then in October he will be again with La Filharmonie - Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano for the opening of the season “Crescendo in musica”. In December 2022 he did a tour that began in Bethlehem and continued in several cities in Emilia Romagna with the YMEO orchestra and soloists Ramin Bahrami and Massimo Mercelli. In December he was assistant to M° Corrado Rovaris in the production Don Giovanni at the Teatro Regio in Parma.


He is currently in Saltillo (Mexico) for an artistic residence with Orquesta Filarmónica del Desierto and Compañía de Ópera de Saltillo.

He conducted “Il barbiere di Siviglia” by G. Rossini at the State Opera of Varna (Bulgaria), “Don Giovanni” by W.A. Mozart at the Teatro Carcano in Milan, “Stabat Mater” by G. Rossini at Teatro Comunale "Claudio Abbado" in Ferrara, “La traviata” by G. Verdi at Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto, Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Comunale C. Abbado in Ferrara. He assisted Maestro Beltrami during the productions of “La traviata”, “Rigoletto” and “Gianni Schicchi” at Teatro Coccia in Novara.

He is Artistic Director of La Filharmonie - Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze.
