Murcia (Spain). Percussionist and orchestra conductor, graduated with Honor Mention between Bruxelles and Murcia. She has a Master in Music Education. She studied at the Orchestra Conducting International Academy (Valencia). Her Maestros were Miguel Rodilla, Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana and Cristóbal Soler.
Assistant Conductor of Valencia Orchestra (2018/19). Currently is Associated Conductor of Granada Youth Orchestra.
Isabel attended masterclasses with John Carewe, Dima Slobodeniouk, Nicolás Pasquet, Yi Chen Lin, George Pehlivanian, Norman Milanés, Enrique García-Asensio, Eugene Corporon, Philippe Gérard, Jan Cober and Alex Schillings between others.
She was musician from: Murcia Orchestra, Chapelle Musicale (Tournai), Brussels Orchestra and Murcia Youth Orchestra. Isabel also won an Interpretation Competition in Murcia.
She has conducted: Valencia Orchestra, Vigo430 Orchestra, Spanish National Youth Orchestra, European Youth Wind Orchestra, Federal Valencia Orchestra, Valencia University Orchestra and “Sine Tempore” Orchestra. She conducted at the International Violin Competition “Cullerarts”, “Cuenca International Music Festival” and “Málaga International Music Festival”.
As Guest conductor, Isabel conduct wind bands all over Spain and Portugal, highlighting professional wind bands in Spain as Alicante, Bilbao, Pontevedra, Santiago de Compostela and Madrid.
As Chief conductor, she conducted wind bands in Murcia and Galicia. She was also a chorus, chamber music, percussion, analysis and orchestra teacher at a professional conservatory; and teacher of the course of conducting at the Conservatory of Coruña (Galicia). Isabel was jury in national and international composition and wind band contests in Spain.
She attended conducting competitions like “Atlantic Coast International Conducting Competition” (Portugal); “Weimar Meisterkurse” (Germany); “Concourse International de Chefs D´Orchestre de Besançon” (France); she was also selected with other 15 conductors all over the world to participate in the “World Music Contest International Conductors Competition” (Netherlands).
Isabel won the “Alicante National Conducting Competition”, won the “Villena International Conducting Competition” (Alicante) and won the “Orchestral Conducting Meetings” in Bilbao.
