Akos Janca is a Hungarian composer, media artist, multi-instrumentalist, graphic software specialist, consultant and teacher. He is graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest.

In addition to composing and performing, he conducts specialized courses and writes on music and graphics, from technical to artistic level.

He researches the relationship between sound and vision, interested in timbre, acoustics, psychoacoustics, geometry, mechanics, electronics, computer science. He builds and programs custom software and hardware solutions for his works: graphical audio synthesis, sonification, audiovisual projects.

Recently, his audiovisual piece 'Six days' was awarded in electroacoustic category at the 2020 Müpa (Palace of Arts) Music Competition, in Budapest.
