Mami Konishi is a Japanese woman artist/pianist/composer.

She began to study piano in her early childhood and graduated at the piano department of a music Univercity, during which she started to learn Jazz. After graduation, she went to the U.S. to take a short term jazz program. This promoted to form her own band shortly after she came home.

She released her albums under her artistic name “MINGUSS” in 2006, 2008,2011 and 2018. Her early performance style was that of pops. And after the release of her second album, she was shocked to hear the sound of Detroit Techno she happened to. She found an ideal in techno music. She decided to go into the world of club sound and released the 3rd album produced by Hiroshi Watanabe a.k.a.Kaito from her own label called IZIDOA.

Since the release of this album, she has performed live with saxophonist and she gradually begins producing music centered on the sound of the saxophone. In December 2018, she released an album which focusing on the sound of saxophone, piano and electronic, under the theme of desert. Manuel Göttsching, a revolutionary musician who has given great influence on club music, and Arnold Kasar a producer / pianist joined as guest musician on this album.
