Composer and violinist from Cascina, born in 1997, he approached the world of music by studying violin with the late Maestro Roberto Cecchetti and later continued under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Bologni at the “Luigi Boccherini” Conservatory in Lucca, graduating with top honors.
He studied composition first with Maestro Pietro Rigacci and subsequently with Maestro Girolamo Deraco, graduating with highest honors and distinction. In 2022, he was awarded a full scholarship for the Puccini International Chamber Opera Composition Course: during the course, he composed the opera IO, MORO, which was performed at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca; the opera won the Cluster Opera Prize 2023.
He is currently attending the Performed Oriented Composition course at the Accademia di Pinerolo under the guidance of Maestros Francesco Antonioni and Alessandro Cadario.
He won the First Prize overall at the Girolamo Frescobaldi 2025, Second Prize at the 2 Agosto 2024, First Prize at the Emili Giménez Bou 2024, First Prize at Armonie dello Stilaro 2024, Third Prize at the Gaffurio Prize 2023, and a Special Mention at the Novi Musica competition 2023. In 2025, he was selected to represent Italy at the Osaka EXPO with the opera L'ebrezza del volo.
His music, characterized by a strong Italian lyrical style, has been performed by the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Pazzano Wind Orchestra, Steven Mead, Frederic Chaslin, and many others, and has been broadcast on Rai 5 and Rai Radio 3.
He has received commissions from the Pontedera Music Festival, the Associazione Musicale Lucchese, Lucca Classica, and the Puccini Chamber Opera Festival; his compositions have been performed at festivals such as Concerti della Normale, Pontedera Music Festival, Lucca Classica, Puccini Chamber Opera Festival, and Udine Classica, by renowned organizations including Cluster and the Lucchese Musical Association, and in important theaters such as Teatro della Pergola and Teatro Goldoni in Florence, Teatro del Giglio and Auditorium del Suffragio in Lucca, Teatro Alfieri in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, and Teatro Palamostre in Udine.
He has arranged and transcribed pieces commissioned by Maestro Andrea Tofanelli, a renowned trumpeter who has brought his works beyond national borders, and by Maestro Francesco Tamiati, principal trumpet of La Scala Theatre in Milan.
His catalog includes operas, works for symphony orchestra and wind orchestra, chamber music, choral works, sacred music, solo instrumental pieces, big band compositions, and music for theater. His music is published by EMA Vinci.
He studied chamber music with Maestro Fabrizio Zoffoli (first violin of the Guadagnini Quartet) and further refined his skills with violinists such as Marco Fornaciari, Marco Pedrona, and Gregory Sandomirsky.
A performer attentive to contemporary music, he has frequently premiered works by Gaetano Giani Luporini, Girolamo Deraco, Daniel Knaggs, Aaron Pelle, Eduardo Caballero, and many others.
