Paula Soriano Ibáñez (Yecla, Spain) is a saxophonist deeply involved in the exploration and performance of contemporary music, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary art, free improvisation and performance, contributing to the development of new repertoire for the instrument.


She studied piano and saxophone, completing the Professional Degree, and later continued her saxophone studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón under the guidance of Andrés Gomis. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Contemporary Music at Hochschule Luzern (HSLU), with Sascha Armbruster as lecturer.


Paula has engaged with composers like Alberto Posadas, Nadir Vassena, Francesca Verunelli, Fabien Lévy, Jessie Marino, and Javier Quislant, and has attended festivals including Translocal Performance Art Giswil and Donaueschingen Musiktage.
