dumb-scrolling is a meditation on the overwhelming mechanisms of social media. Immersed in the rapid visual rhythms of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, we grow numb — perception fades, and memory erodes. The piece explores musical memory by subjecting iconic fragments of classical, Romantic, and popular music to saturation, 'TikTokization', and 'memefication', transforming them through digital ephemerality.

It ends with words by Antonio Gala: “Intelligence that does not help us to live — I do not want it. It serves me no purpose. I do not believe it serves anyone.”
