Quintet for bandoneon and string quartet, Op. 7 (2023)

The Quintet for Bandoneon and String Quartet, Op.7 (2023) by Simone Tolomeo unfolds in four movements. The final Allegro, in sonata form, opposes a new rhythmic theme to the transformed initial theme, culminating in a brilliant recapitulation full of virtuosity and energy.
