Ignis Beat is a work for piano and electronics. It is taken from my EP "Wave Files" - four pieces based on the natural elements. The DNA of this fire piece comprises strands of castañuela rhythm, an orchestral sample of De Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance and a transgressive dub beat that epitomizes the music's unruly nature.
